Thank you letters below:

Dear New Brunswick Society of Retired Teachers,
I am writing this letter to thank you for the generous scholarship that I have received for the
2024 – 2025 school year. My name is Grace Clinton, I am a first-year student in the Faculty of
Science at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John, and I am hoping to continue onto
further medical studies in the future. This is going to be a very costly investment, so this
scholarship has provided relief for both me and my family when it comes to funding my
education.
Education has always been a very meaningful part of my life, and now that I am pursuing a
higher education, this generous scholarship has substantially aided my financial investment in
my future. As I continue my Bachelor of Science at UNBSJ, and potentially purse further
studies, this scholarship has not only relieved my financial concerns for this school year, but it
has also given me great motivation to succeed. Knowing that I have people supporting me fills
me with such gratitude, and I cannot express just how much this scholarship means to me.
Throughout my school career, from elementary through high school, the support of my teachers
has played a very important role in helping me to stay motivated, so having received this
scholarship has been such a special opportunity for me. I am extremely grateful for the difference
that this scholarship has made to me and my family.
While I unfortunately cannot attend the annual Luncheon due to scheduling conflicts, I still
wish to convey my heartfelt thanks to the New Brunswick Society of Retired Teachers for
supporting me in my pursuit of higher education. I thank you again for this generous scholarship,
and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me as I continue my education!
Warmest regards,
Grace Clinton.

Dear New Brunswick Society of Retired Teachers - Saint John Branch,
My name is Grace LeBlanc, and I am writing to express my gratitude as the recipient of the NB
Society of Retired Teachers SJ Education Scholarship. Your generous investment in my future is
deeply appreciated.
I am in my final year pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology, as well as a
Bachelor of Education at UNB Saint John. My passion for education was nurtured by all the
teachers who have helped me grow into the person I am today. Therefore, having the honor to
receive this scholarship is very special to me.
As a student, balancing work and academic commitments has been tough, especially while trying
to invest in my future and pursue other goals, like earning a master’s degree to enhance my
knowledge in education. This scholarship has greatly eased my financial stress as I finish my
fifth year at UNB Saint John.
Thanks to your generous support, I can now focus more on my studies and reach a higher level
of learning. Your contribution is making a real difference for students like me, who are
passionate about making a positive impact in education. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity,
and I’m committed to using it to inspire and teach others in our community.
Sincerely,
Grace LeBlanc
